The Glasgow ESOL Register helps people living in Glasgow to access English language level assessments and to find suitable community ESOL classes.

Learners aiming to improve their English through community classes should create an account on the Glasgow ESOL Register.

What if I want to study at college?

Attending community classes can provide a route into studying ESOL at college. All three Glasgow colleges have agreed to prioritise learners from community ESOL classes provided by Glasgow Life, WEA and Glasgow ESOL Forum.

Since January 2022, colleges in Glasgow have also accepted direct applications for their courses. If you wish to study at college level, it is therefore advisable to apply or contact your preferred college directly. Please note that spaces on these courses are in high demand, and tend to be filled very quickly. See the FAQs page for more information.
